Neither my husband or I can place or receive calls, but everything else works. Anyone else?
Thursday
Hey there, phone working again, and service is on! It will be interesting to see why Telus was down in the first place?! Anyways, glad the service is working for you as well! Cheers
Thursday
From what I learned when I moved here, bell here is not in anyway affiliated with the Ontario bell. Telus just seems to work 1000000% better.
Thank you! 😁😅🤣 Voice mail crisis resolved! Would you happen to know why it reverted to French? That's never ever happened before?
Thursday
Public Mobile uses the same Telus network (in fact Bell and Telus share the same network)
for voicemail, you can change it back to English, you know how to change it?
Call you Voicemail -> click 4 for Personal option -> 4 for Preference -> 5 to change language -> 1 for English
Thursday
Yes indeed, I find Telus provider is more reliable here in Newfoundland, I've had all the major providers. Only thing still occurring now is French Only or French first and then in English. This never happened before is this something new? Haven't checked my voice mail message yet, but earlier it was French Only?
Thursday
this is a Telus outage, so you will get the same outage even if you are paying more using Telus and Koodo.
outage like this happen with any provider. I would have to say there is way less outage them than couple years ago. The service is now much more reliable
Thursday
Yes there isn't much which happens hence why I've been with them for so long. Not to mention no hidden fees or lies from the reps. Plus with all the gb and what I pay, no one else can compare. One said they can match it I was like oh yes, 2 lines for $102 taxes in with many many GB, lol they couldn't.
Hopefully it's all resolved for you now 😊

hi @Robert58
the issue that most people here is an issue that affect Eastern Canada. I thinks your issue is unrelated since you are in Yukon. You should ask PM to look at your issue seperately.
You can submit a support ticket right at My Account and PM app using the Expert Messaging in one of these ways:
Support agent will reply within 2 to 4 hours. You will be notified via SMS/email or monitor here:
https://expert-messaging.publicmobile.ca
Remember: Support hours of operation: 9 AM to 10 PM ET

I done all that nothing happened

A device reboot should be all you need
if you have physical sim card, test the sim card on another phone and it will trigger a sim reprovsion and should resolve the issue quickly
Again, if issue persists, please open a ticket with PM Customer support and they can assist further. Please open ticket using Public Mobile Expert Messaging using your Community/EverSafe account. Select Start a Chat to begin:

**You'll get email/SMS alert when agent replies. or monitor here: https://expert-messaging.publicmobile.ca/message-centre

widespread voice call issue. I think data still work.
if you like, download a VoIP app like TextNow and use it to make calls until issue is fully resolved
Thursday
there is a big thread about the voice calls
try this:
For affected mobile users, toggling airplane mode can serve as a temporary workaround while remediation efforts continue.
or also try try Reboot your phone and reset network settings
Thursday
since this morning I have been unable to make calls. Is it just me? or is it my phone? I thought I have confirmation that my phone will work. Please check
Thursday
hi all
Although it might be a system issue, a reboot is necessary to re-establish a fresh connection.
Please reboot your phone before trying

Services are still down in Ontario and other provinces, regardless of what was stated just recently.
Customers continue to report service is down in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Prince Edward Island.
Just tested my Public Mobile phone (which is for my child’s use) with my other phone and some services are still not working. Thankfully, at least the text messages are functional.
1) Voice mail is not working. When a call is made to either the voice mail number or the phone’s number, it shows the word “calling” on the screen, but does not call because there is no dialling sound.
2) The Public Mobile phone has been tested on three other phones. Service for the other three phones is from Fido and Rogers. All attempts to make a call from the PM phone to another one fail. The dialling sound is not heard, but the word “calling” appears on screen as if the PM phone is attempting to connect.
3) All calls, except for one from a friend’s Fido phone, failed to connect. That one successfully connected call was likely due to just plain luck and timing, since the service outages are reportedly sporadic and unpredictable. When a call is attempted from another phone to the PM one, the caller’s phone is silent (there is no call dialling sound) and the incoming call’s number does not appear on the PM phone’s screen.
4) This massive and widespread hours-long multiple service outage across multiple provinces has cut off access to emergency services, if the need to request such help occurs, since Public Mobile’s service outage has rendered the phone mostly unfunctional.
5) All functions from other phones with service provided by another company not operated by Telus are fully functional, so the problems are not caused by the PM phone or the other phones or the any of the other service providers.
Since I have two phones, the service for the first one is from another company and these problems are not caused by the phone and we know it is caused by this widespread service outage (not the phone); I am not going to reset anything on the phone for now
Any such dumb instruction from the Artificial Stupidity System is just it’s usual blanket blame the customer and “fix it yourself” direction.
Fix the cause of the problems permanently, now that it has to be done anyway; so this doesn't occur again.
Eventually, Telus will get it’s act together and will get this fixed and stabilized.

No one told me. Both my wife and I have phones on Public Mobile, and we can only call each other only. Otherwise, it is still down.

Who told you that? I don't see any update here
