Hi, Since I am with public mobile I have not been able to send any MMS and/or access data despite de fact that it is included in my package. What should I do to have full access with my phone Sonim XP7700 with Android 5.1.1. ?

@RYC   glad it works

Again, your phone released before 2017, it could stop working any time, so be aware.

Seems to work better with this set-up. Thank-you.

@RYC

start with

APN Type: default,supl,mms

and see if it works

Ok Thank-you. I am trying a new one. What should I set here  (this is no clear to me)?

APN Type: default,supl,mms

         or    default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri

I have two choice in access point.  TELUS SP or TELUS ISP.

@RYC   you can try to update either of that (or even create a new one), and then select that one you updated as the one to be used

you can compare my list below.  But again, it is possible it won't work because the phone is too old, according to the Telus post I mentioned above

here is the full APN details:

@RYC   check this, your phone could be too old

https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/multimedia-messaging-browsing-services-update

While your phone model is not on the list, but the affected list there is not covering all phones affected (there are just too many phones out there)

Your phone was released in 2015, before the 2017 date mentioned there.

Also, the OS is a bit old too

@RYC   Is your data enabled on the phone as MMS cannot be sent or received without it.  You'll also need to make sure you have the correct APN settings for this which can be checked at this link:

@RYC - do you have your data option on in the settings of your device? This needs to be on when receiving or sending MMS.

If you do have data on try performing a reset of the device's network settings.

You could also check your APN settings. For Android phones try editing to this.
