@sandeep_9173   I think OP is entitled to a self solution considering he/she managed to figure it out immediately after posting...  Good job sandeep 😊

Nice One! Not only did you figure out how to change your plan now.....you also got started on the community! If you explained to us how you figured out how to do it you could get a rare self solution or you can just choose the member that explained it the best....and give them the solution.

You have also figured out that your data needs are a little more than expected. If you were close to your renewal then renewing early makes the most economical sense. For $10 more than the $40/5gb plan you gained an extra 3.5gb of plan data.

It would probably be a good idea (If you haven't already) to set the new 30 day plan dates on your data tracker. Set your data warning to alert you at  50% so you can manage your usage. Enable your data saver. Turn off your background data on 95% of your apps. Turn off WiFi assist ( if you have an iPhone.) These small tasks will help prevent data wastage and stretch your plan data to last your entire 30 day data allotment.

First you add money in your account by selecting the plan and the money will be deducted from your bank. The account then will show you have this much money in it.

Then again you go to change my plan and activate your choosen plan. The plan will be activated right away and money in your account will be zero again.

🙂

And to reiterate the warnings that you would have seen...there are no pro-rated refunds here. You start a new plan and 30 day term and forfeit the previous. Even the day after a renewal.

@sandeep_9173  not often I see someone immediately figure it out then give a detailed explanation lol. Great job in being able to figure this out. Welcome to the community.

It's usually more cost-effective to do an add on if you are close to your renewal then change your plan at renewal.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hi. Go into your account and click Change Plan (beside My Plan). You can pick a new plan and have the option to change plan NOW, or change at your next renewal date.
