Lost my phone.

and sim and had to get new one cuz forgot password with everything being saved in phone. I had just paid for a month on my old number but also had to pay for new one. Is there any way to transfer my rewards and the balance paid from old account. My work pc had my credentials saved so I can finally get on this old account but is it too late????

@lunchypoo   You might have done the wrong thing

 

did you buy a new sim card and activate a new number here https://activate.publicmobile.ca/ ?

If you have done it that way, that is not correct.

 

What you should have done is get a new sim card, login to My Account and request Change sim card there instead

 

So, if you have 2 accounts, and you want to keep your old one, what you need to do now

 

  1. Login to your NEW account (the one with new phone number), disable Pre-Authorized payments so it won't charge you a second month

  2. But another new Pm sim card.  Then use a Desktoip or laptop computer (not mobile) and login to your OLD My Account, the one with the OLD number.  Go to Quick Links on top right and select Change Sim card and then enter the new sim card number and follow the steps

hopefully you did not activate the new SIM card but you just changed the SIM card number on your existing self-serve account.

 

If you created a whole new account, that means you also created a new number and cannot transfer either the phone number over or the rewards.

 

Your only choices are to retain the new account with the new number, or get another SIM card and do a change SIM on the existing account, which is established with rewards and your prior number.

 

I hope this response understood your initial question and dilemma.

@lunchypoo  Sign k to self serve and got lost stolen button untill you get a new SIM card and do SIM card swap on computer to resume services and keep your rewards
