I’ve been using Telcel in Mexico all winter and seem to have lost my Canadian public mobile chip . My account is paid but I have no chip. How do I get new chip and use old number?

all good advise provided. Not sure if you're aware...you can still use your Telcel number here in Canada; as long as your 30 day plan haven't expired yet. No pasa nada.

The new Canada, USA and Mexico plan will work in all 3 countries on the PM SIM at no extra roaming charges.
You can keep the PM SIM in your phone and enable Roaming to connect to Telcel network.
You might want to look into the Canada, USA and Mexico plan when you return to Canada.

hi @Lizp
you are in Mexico still?
keeping the number is not a problem, every easy. But depends where you are now, will see how to help
you have a Canada-US-Mex plan? quickest way is to get a esim and you can setup when you are in Mexico. Just download PM app, login (may need to use email to receive 2FA so you can login), then go to Account, and Purchase sim card and choose esim
if your phone cannot use esim, you will have to order a Public Mobile sim and have it send to Mexico , maybe your family can pickup one in Canada and send to you. Once you get the sim card, just login My Account and go to Profile and update the sim card number there

Hello @Lizp
If your account is still active, here is how you can get a new SIM card fast.
To get a new SIM card the fastest routes are these.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/pick-up-SIM - Find a local store in your area.
Amazon - Here you can get it cheaper and maybe a few days wait $4.99
As long as your account is active and paid, you can just log into your account and change the SIM card number. Your number will stay the same.
Just wondering though... if you've been in Mexico all this time, why didn't you change your Public Mobile plan to one of the newer Can US Mex plan? You could have been using your Public Mobile plan down there! 🙂
