Lost Simcard. Need to activate new sim

Hey i lost my old phone with sim. I bought a new sim and im unable to activate it because public mobile wants me to create an account. I cant create and register the account because, they need to send me a pin to my phone.. which i don't have. Walmart was unable to help me.

@michbgas mentioned if its been over 90 days in suspended mode you will need to buy a new sim card and activate a new account (use a differnt email i believe)  and get a new number.

 

the good news is there are some decent promos at the moment 25+25 refere a friend and $10 off 30$ plans for 6 months.

Not using a SIM for more than 90 days deactivates everything about it. As far as PM is concerned...you're gone.

That is no longer the correct procedure to contact the moderators.  Users are not supposed to include that information in the original message.  Moderators now have you separately confirm your identity be sending you a link in a private message that has you essentially log into your self-serve account, or at least enter your password  so that the moderators can make sure that you are allowed to talk about the account with them.

It's too bad that you didn't activate online because self-serve account would have been created already.  When there is in-store activation, I think they send you some type of veriffication text so that you can sign your self serve. .

If you never have activated self service account, you will need to contact moderator for help.  Include the relevant information.  The wait times have been less than one day recently.
