Losing the old SIM always makes this process more stressful, especially when you’re just stuck waiting on an agent reply. If the app or site ever offers an email option for 2FA, that’s usually the quickest workaround before support steps in. I had a similar issue while checking how a globe sim works with different registration methods on tmregistration.ph, and their detailed steps on updating SIM details, fixing OTP issues, and keeping numbers active really helped me stay calm through the wait.

No! They didn't give me the email option, and when I contact the other agent they said to contact them and they should answer in 30 min but now its 4 hours and the agents did say they would answer the same day.

@Rebeccajean wrote:Hi,I have already contacted a CS Agent and sent them a private message about 3 hours ago but I have not received a reply yet. I lost my previous SIM card so I cannot receive the SMS verification code to change the SIM in my account. I already purchased a new Public Mobile SIM card and I am trying to activate it with my existing number.
When you fail to receive the sms, can you see an option to send to email address ? If not, you'll have to get Customer Support help. It's the weekend so they'll likely be understaffed until Monday...but keep an eye open in case they respond today or tomorrow too.

You don’t need to activate a new SIM because you will be charge for 2 plans with 2 different numbers.
Just change the SIM card number to replace the old SIM and transfer to the new SIM with your current number.
Login to your account then click on Resend Code/Didn’t Receive Code and you have the option to send the 2FA code to your email.
Then go to Accounts-Change Your SIM Card.

first off...you should edit out your cell number...you never know who's lurking in these types of community run forums. Click the v in a circle located on top right side of page to edit your original message.
See if the verification code can be sent to your email if sms fails. You must download the Public Mobile app, then log in to your account. Click the Account tab (at bottom)...the find Change your Sim Number. If you can't access your account, you can use this link to message Customer Support...
