While setting up a new SIM card for my father in law , I must have entered an incorrect email address and now he cannot access his account....Useless to try anything that requires a link sent to his email because it keeps saying that the email address entered is not valid. Any way to get around this?

Not true....I have never provided a PIN.
Don't make things more difficult that what they really are.
Likely the OP will only have to do a verification by signing on to his account (which he cannot do) OR giving his number and will need to verify by using the code that they send him. And obviously it will the choice of text.

You will need your special PIN you create while activating the SIM, address, telephone number, CC number etc.

@Shigdon don't bother with the laundry list. Start the email and state your issue, you only need to answer what they ask!!!

Pretty sure it's activated. When he installed it he could make outgoing calls but could not receive calls. Found out he used the wrong account number from his old provider to transfer his number

Did you active the SIM card? If no..then start again. You can see if the SIM has been activated by starting the process again and key in the SIM card #....what is the message ....Invalid or a green check mark?
If all activated they will do a confirmation using a code that is send to the phone #..

But in order to change an email address you need to know the old one....but I dont know what was entered....obviously a typo somewhere

You will need to contact moderator to change email address.
Click on the chat bubble icon on the right lower corner of website to start ticketing process to contact moderator. Type: Contact moderator. Follow the prompts to submit ticket.
