Locked out of account

Hi community,

 

My password is not working with my account, so I clicked the 'forgot my password' function and now the web page says that I am locked out of my account and need to contact Public Mobile. How do I go about this? I am looking to gain access to my account ASAP because I no longer require the service but AutoPay is active and will take the funds on Oct 4th.

Ahhh, i see. If you are locked out of your account, ie: password reset isn't working or it will not allow you to reset, the only option is to contact the MODs if you have not done so already.

The plan is actually for a tablet, of which I don't currently have access to. Due to this, I can't call *611 to turn off AutoPay. That's why I am looking to cancel the account via the online platform.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestion - I've messaged them.

 

I tried using the 'forget my password' function earlier in the summer but it took a few months before I ever received an e-mail to reset my password and I never acted on it when I got the e-mail. I'm suspecting that has something to do with my account being locked.

Start by sending a message to Moderator_Team asap - include your name, account number, phone number, and PIN so they can help as soon as they get to your message. Do it now, their response times seem to be around 48 hours right now.

 

So when you clicked the Forgot Password link - it didn't let you reset your password via email or anything?
