I’m just wondering if the “limited time offer” plans that are available now have a length of time at which the price increases, or that’s the price that the plan stays at indefinitely. Thank you.

@Jay_00 someone else mentioned that they could change the data amount
That most likely refers to the bonus data that was given to people on the old rewards system, and the "fine print" for that bonus was that if they downgrade to a lower plan they would lose the bonus. Many missed that notice and so downgraded to take advantage of the extra data only to find it was clawed back. So it wasn't a change of plan data but of "gift" data. Those of us who started with PM after the beginning of 2022 were never on this rewards system and have been on points all along.

@Jay_00, it is a risk that the plan disappears but it seems that if Freedom continues to offer their Can/US plan PM might continue to offer theirs. Also, you could get your family signed up when you are ready and if the plan is not available at that time, because we are not locked on a contract you can switch them if/when it does come back, just be sure to do the "On renewal" option and not "Now" option as this is a prepaid service you will lose out on whatever remaining days you had left

@Jay_00 The strategy is to sign up for the best deal that you can get. Then, keep your eyes open for a better one and select it for change on renewal, assuming that it is not a new activation plan. (If you opt to change right away, you will lose the benefit of your current plan which you have already paid for).
Good luck.

Thank you for the quick reply! I noticed someone else mentioned that they could change the data amount. I’m new to PM, and my whole family wants to switch to the available plans right now. I just don’t want everyone to switch and then the plan price or data to change after a certain period of time. Thanks!

My understanding is that if you sign up with one of these plans you will continue to have it but the idea is that they will not be offering them indefinitely so it's like a get it while you can until another promotion comes along

@Jay_00 It means that the offer is only available for a limited time but once you have subscribed to it it continues to renew at that rate until you change to another plan.
