use this link to locate Mobile Klinik in Scarberia town center...and they have Public Mobile sim cards as well as Certified Preowned phones for a decent price. They'll be glad to help you through the process of transferring your lost PM service to new new cellphone...no need to use Chatr.

https://mobileklinik.ca/stores/scarborough-town-centre/

The staff at Mobile Klinik don't have the abilty to do this. The only thing that they can do is sell the SIM card and a phone.  it's still up to the customer to attach the SIM card to the Public Mobile account. The salespeople there have no access to the Public Mobile systems.

Agreed...but I have had personal experience with them helping me through a similar experience. They showed me the way...I had to provide the account info. They were very knowledgeable and accommodating to an old guy who otherwise woulda been hopelessly lost.

If your lost phone was subscribed to Public Mobile...you have a Public Mobile account.

@Garrfield you can try reaching a support agent for help. You will need to open a ticket through the Chatbot:
https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
(and then type: Customer Support Agent)

Or, if you are having trouble with the Chatbot try sending a private message to:

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
(note: you will need to be logged into your Community account for this link to work)

I don't have an  account I got the number sometime in the past 8years in a store at the West End Toronto

Another option, if you have Amazon Prime account, you can buy a Public Mobile SIM for $5 and it should arrive in 1 or 2 days. Buying at the store (TELUS/Koodo) will cost $10.

@Garrfield   There are no Public Mobile stores anywhere, you can get Public Mobile sim cards at Telus/Koodo stores though.  Do you mean you can't log in to get your account number because the phone is the only way you can access the internet?  Otherwise you should be able to get the verification code by email by selecting "Didn't Get the Code" when you try to log in, and once logged in you can get your account number.  You may also be able to transfer to Chatr by giving them the IMEI number of your missing phone if you kept a note of it, but that can be less reliable than the account number.

@Garrfield you should still be able to login to your account using the Public Mobile website. If it asks you to enter a code click on "Didn't get code" and then select to resend to email instead since you do not have your phone to receive the code by text. You might actually need to speak with a support agent to transfer out because of the code, or you can simply pick up a new SIM tomorrow at a TELUS/Koodo or Mobile Klinik store and just add the SIM to your account and then you would be up and running, no need to leave Public Mobile

I would like support to lock the number please thank you I no longer have it it's lost its in a samsung phone

@Garrfield

log in to your account on a laptop and you can find your account number there. Also, while you're at it...go to Payments > Manage Subscription...then disable SUBSCRIBED to stop Autopay.

The phone is lost. I can still call it but nobody is answering so I picked up a chatr since there is no public mobile store in Scarborough here

@Garrfield if you meant to say you are transferring out of Public Mobile to Chatr then you can get your account info by going into the Public Mobile app, under the Subscription tab you can get your account number

*added: Don't forget to leave your PM SIM in your phone as they will send you a text asking to confirm you are transferring out. You will have 90 minutes to respond "YES". After that, you an remove the old PM SIM and place the new SIM card in and wait for the porting to complete which normally take 1 to 2 hours
