Hello,
I would like to use another carrier from next term and my next payment date will be Feb 13th.
If my phone number will be ported by Rogers or Fido around Feb 10th, my PM account will be terminated automatically and payment will not be made on Feb 13th?
Just curious if there is some strict policy when someone wants to stop service.
Thank you,

It is a prepaid plan. There is no obligation to pay or specifically cancel. Just turn off the autopay feature. You have 90 days after the expiry of the plan before your account is deactivated and you lose your phone number.
It has been rough around here lately due to the promo problems but it is worth it to stay. With autopay, your bill is $2 less a month and it goes down $1 per year you are a customer. Anyway, the price for me is worth a little hassle at the start. The tough part is over (I hope). Lol.

@canavan yes disable autopay & delete credit card you will be fine
Just make sure port is completed before bill date

I'd disable autopay just to be safe.

Just turn off AutoPay and remove your credit card. This will disable your account to make any payments. When you port out, your account will automatically get deactivated.

Yes, you should be ok if Rogers/Fido port you out successfully before your next term. If you do get charged (could happen but it shouldn't) contact the moderator to get the charges reversed.
