How do I start over with number switch. Can't receive confirmation text on landline

Hello @Howty 

First and foremost, I would highly recommend signing up first. Get a temporary number and make sure you can make and take calls, text and receive texts and make sure data works. Once that's done, then you can click on this link and port over your number. Please note that landlines can take up to 7 business days to port over. You won't know it happens so it's best to reboot your phone once a day to test your number out.

Public Mobile sends a text message to customers after number porting is complete.  While the text message doesn't actually say that porting is completed, the text message that says something along the lines of welcome to Public Mobile and to restart the phone is only sent after number porting has completed.

landline does not need to get the text, but it will take 3 to 7 days to get the port done

there is a porting assistance team you can call and ask for update.  I can't post the number here, but I will message the number to your community inbox.  Please check and call them
