Hey guys,
Just wondering what speeds everyone is getting.
Trying to get a feel for 4G and LTE data speeds around the city.
I'm getting about 10mbps (4g) and 20mbps (LTE) in the main and danforth area.

Hey there!
I'm in postal code K0A1A0, which is about 1 hour west of Ottawa. Download speeds were capping out at 9mbps and upload speeds were at 4mbps. I'm coming from WIND, so this level of service in a rural area has me all giddy and happy inside. 🙂

Just a reminder to all that these speed test apps/sites can consume quite a bit of data, and they DO count against your data allotment in your plan (or add-on). Don't be afraid to use them, but be aware, and use sparingly if you're tight on data generally.

speedtest.net is a popular one..
I think I hit around 30mbps down last time I ran it (note: it will use 40-50mb for the test; more if you test upload too)

I get 30 Mbps / 4.09 Mbps here in west coast. I think it would be even higher with phones capable of LTE+.

Hi @zhazero!
Just a little terminology clarification: 4G = LTE, only some carriers label the 3G/HSPA+ connection as 4G
I have got around 15Mbps down in 3G/H+ mode and around 37Mbps down in LTE Mode with insane 25Mbps up. All in downtown Toronto.. around Queens Park.
