Created an account last Thursday. Had a temporary number assigned. Then applied for transferring of the old number to this service. Somewhere in there i applied for an eSIM as I am using an iPhone SE. Received a text from the former carrier to validate the change and port the number over to the new service.
Screen indicates I am subscribed to Public Mobile. However further down in the Settings areas there are references to the former carrier. Data seems to be working. I can receive some voice calls and I can text provided the texting is started by the other party. I must have done something wrong in the account change over.

hi @Hevans
did you remove the old carrier sim card or disable the old carrier esim? Please do so
Also, in the Settings, remove the phone number, disable iMessage. Reboot phone after 5 mins. Go back to the settings, put the new phone number back, enable iMessage and it will re-register iMessage
