Just got in Canada and took the bait to hire this boxing day deal from PM. Had to wait 1 week to get my sim card by mail and, now that arrived, service is not working. Wasted a lot of time to fix the issue but I can't receive calls or texts. After some research, found out that this is totally normal. Most bizarre is the customer service, which is something common around here, where i should almost beg to be a client. Wtf is happening to my number? Will I be able to use this service or should I cancel everything?
This cheap robot is telling that I should also login with my account, which is also impossible because in order to validate, I should confirm my number with a text message. I've never seen anything like this, rofl

Furthermore Public Mobile doesn't have conventional customer support, and relies on the forum where other members who have experience can help you out or you can directly message the service agents through the links we gave. But it takes a bit of time due to these; unlike speaking to a person directly. However from my own experience once you get setup initially, things are generally very good in terms of service.
