It has been 5 hours since the public mobile account was activated. But my phone number is not ported

I have not received any message from public mobile about my transferring number after 5 hours since getting activated.

@Tomngo5752 when I switched over to PM I never received any confirmation messages so that could depend on who your old carrier was. Best to just have the PM SIM in your phone and test every 20 minutes or so to see if you are receiving calls and text

Yes. I did called the previous provider to confirm the transfer.

Your old SIM should still be working if porting wasn’t completed. Contact a CS_Agent to have your old carrier to resend the approval text. Click on the Chat bubble and type in Submit a Ticket or Contact Agent.

 

If your old SIM is not working then your  porting was completed or your cancelled your old service before the porting process…in this case, your old number will be returned to the carrier you got the number from.
