Is it compatible with public mobile sim?

I'm running:

Huawei MediaPad x2

Model:. GEM-703L

It only runs 3G on Public Mobile but other wise works fine... however 3G speeds does not bother me, if you intend on streaming a lot of video content then you might want to consider a different phone.
