What they are saying is that your port is stuck in transition. I know it is frustrating to be without a phone but I have had the smae issues when I was dealing witha person in the store so it isn't just PM that has these issues the retail stores also have similar problems

If you are transferring your number, try your old SIM. If it's working just use it unlti PM clears up your service.
