Due to the pending change in the rewards system, I’m wondering whether to cancel my account with PM and switch over to another provider. But I may return to PM and wonder if I need a different PM SIM?

If you currently have ACTIVE PM SIM and you switch to another provider (transfer number) your account will be immediately deleted and current SIM will be deactivated.
On order to 'return' to PM you would need new SIM as old one cannot be reused.

@ffodee Yes you would need a new SIM card and new email to create a new account if you port out and come back later
