Hi,
I'm currently using a OnePlus 7 Pro, but I'll be forced to replace it because Public Mobile doesn't allow the phone to use VoLTE.
I'm considering buying a used OnePlus 13, specifically the North American version (model #CPH2655). However, when I use Public Mobile's VoLTE compatibility tool with the phone's IMEI, it says that the phone isn't supported.
I'm a little surprised, considering it's a relatively recent phone that was sold in Canada. How could it not be supported?
Am I misunderstanding something, or is the phone truly not supported for VoLTE on Public Mobile?
Thanks!

I'm surprised it's not approved, those phones have been available to buy in Canada for a while, I nearly bought one, only recently are they at risk of not selling them here due to the company restructure. I wonder if it's a case of not 'officially' on the list of approved devices yet still works?
Some people on reddit have it working in Canada https://www.reddit.com/r/CellPhoneCanada/comments/1tvcn3y/oneplus_13_cph2655/?rdt=34901

No matter how old or new your phone or from which company you bought or if it is VoLTE compatible - it if it is NOT compatible with PM network – check VoLTE compatibility on PM site – then that phone will NOT work with PM services.
Your plan has nothing to do with phone compatibility; you can have the Most expensive plan but if phone is not compatible with PM then you will be charged extra or phone will not work at all.
ALWAYS check PM database with your phone’s IMEI – current phone or prospective purchase.
Check it here: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/get-help/articles/volte - BE AWARE database is NOT up to date at all and results are NOT accurate. Best way is to contact agent for clarification (talking from personal experience) as they have access to the REAL compatibility database.

The Oneplus 13 will not be VoLTE compatible because it is not in the PM whitelist of approved devices.
You contact confirm whether it is VoLTE since it is a new Oneplus phone.
PM's whitelist is shorter than Koodo or Telus. You might want to confirm with a CS_Agent. I know the there was the same issue with tge latest iPhone 17 and yge Samsung S26.
