My son has phone number with other provider We like to transfer his  number to Public mobile. It says invalid phone number. Please help.

 

I entered more than 10 times. Still error message

 

Please enter a valid Canadian phone number.

Is it Koodo prepaid?  For those, you have to ask a customer support agent to do it.

Wherever the number belongs to, area wise, if Telus does not offer service in that area....then it cannot be ported. Check here and do some comparing.

@Marina12 invalid number error could be because there is already a porting request submitted.  It could be because the first attempt was on fact submitted.  

 

Check if PM charged you card already.  

If not, then just activate with a temporary new number first.  Once activated, first check if you can make outgoing and receive  incoming calls. Once confirmed, open ticket with PM for them to help to port  manually

OR try one of these:

Public Mobile has web page cache issue so you might be looking at obsolete status. Click on little spinner refresh icons lower down. Try using different browser. Try Incognito/private mode. Clear browser’s cache. Try forced refresh. Use computer and not phone to log in.
