International Minutes - Options

Shout out to Public Mobile marketing team!

When offering plans with included "International Minutes" like the current Canada/US/Mexico plan with 75G data and "1000 International minutes", the countries (China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, UK) one can call are different than the countries one can call under the "300 International minutes" offering which are Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Venezuela.

Why is this? You should offering the consumer a choice to choose one of both options for International minutes, or simply add all of the countries in together from both.

I signed up for a plan with International Minutes thinking I could call some countries in Europe, but instead it's an Add-On at an additional $15 per month. Not what I was expecting, nor is calling the countries offered within the plans something I have a need for. Now reconsidering my decision...

Make it fair when offering plans with International Minutes, and either offer the regions in two separate plan offerings, or have the consumer choose as an "included option" within the plan, or just blend all the countries together.

What do you think Community members? Worthy Idea to offer?

Thanks for your feedback. I’m just suggesting that PM offer an ability to choose between the two “International Minutes” options when seeking a plan with such an offering, rather than it being an add-on to a plan which only currently offers the one region. It’s bias towards the Asia Pacific region and strictly the UK as it stands now IMO.

HI @SplitWindowGuy

PM system just cannot call all countries, so the International calling add-on is only for the countries on the list

This has been like this for years, I don't think they are going to make the change

if you cannot call the countries you want, you will have to use LD calling cards
