I am on an older plan. It shows a limit of 50 int texts. Strangely all my outgoing texts (Canadian numbers) count towards that limit. What happens if I reach the 50?

I had that plan when I first start with Public mobile. It is 50 texts outgoing (includes both Canada and international). If you use iMessage (apple) or RCS messages (android), not sure whether that would be counted as the 50 texts. It should only count SMS texts.
As mentioned, you could see which plans are available in your account if you needs change and need to upgrade plans,

hi @APascoe

can you post your plan details you see from Subscription and Add-on page?

my usage statistics tells me how many outgoing messages I have used from the 50 limit. They are all to Canadian numbers. Limit is for international SMS, at least it says so in the plan. Maybe I should open a ticket?

That is an older grandfathered plan. At 50 texts, it should just stop working. You will not be charged extra.
Maybe look in your account and check which plans are available to you. You should fine a similar plan with unlimited texting at maybe a higher price point. Might be worth it.
