My iMessage stopped being able to send and receive from my phone number randomly. I've tried turning the iMessage toggle on and off again in iPhone settings, resetting and updating my phone, and I went to Apple support which tells me I need to contact my phone provider. Sending/receiving SMS still works, but not iMessage. Please help!

I did try this...

did you try to actually remove the phone number from settings and reboot and put that back after? I notice many need to go through that to get iMessage working after porting

My email does not come up, and by my phone number it's just a loading sign and says verifying. I use wifi and data about equally, and it doesn't work on either. I've tried disabling iMessage and rebooting my phone as others suggested, but it's still the same.

@gihallens In Settings - Messages - Send & Receive, do you have both email and phone number checked? Also, is the phone always on wifi or data?

hi @gihallens
try one more thing. Go to the settings, disable iMessage and remove the phone number. Reboot phone, then go back to enter phone number and reenable iMessage for it to re-register
if same, then you can ask PM to help. submit a ticket with CS Agent using Chatbot here:

@gihallens , hi did you remove the phone number from iMessages? Delete it and add it back. You could aslo sign out of your apple account and sign back in.
