@susanrs - if you are already a Public Mobile customer and you are wanting to port your landline into your current Public Mobile account, then see @LeePublic post.
If you are wanting to port your landline over to Public Mobile into a new SIM card activation account. Then you can do that during the activation process either in-store or through the online activation pages here: https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/portal/activation
You can check to see if your number can be ported from this Koodo website (Telus owns Koodo and Public Mobile), so, same allowances here:
https://secure.koodomobile.com/checktransfereligibilityparrot/default.do?lang=en&appname=otherportal
Make sure you do not cancel your previous provider's services. If you have bundles services with our landline phone provider (like internet or tv services) you may want to connect with them first to discuss what your remaining services plan/costs will be once you port out the phone number.
Otherwise, if this is just landline with no other services attached, you should only need to provide the name, account and any other information requested during the SIM/account activation process.
Landline ports can take 3+ days. Expect a mix of services on the landline and Public Mobile SIM card until port is complete.
Incoming calls are usually the last to port over.

Be patient as landlines can potentially be a lot longer than porting over a cell #

Hi Susanrs, It should not be a problem. Once you have a sim card, just follow the process of joining up and in the port a number fill in your land line number. Keep in mind that the number still has to be active and it may take a little longer to get confirmation on the porting. If you do not know of someone with a referral number I can supply you with mine. Welcome to Public!

Edit your post and remove your phone number. This is public forum.
To port your land line to PM, log in into your self-serving account and click on Change Number. Please note: BOTH numbers have to be active so do not cancel land line until porting is completed. Porting of land line usually takes up to a week to compete.
then select Transfer...
