I need a new phone and PM don't offer them, is there an offer for switching to parent company Telus?

Ya, I started with the local dealer and they were the highest price and when they heard I was looking for some kind of deal or competitor match they said sorry and that I should take the Rogers deal, they can't come close. To be fair all the local dealers from any company won't budge or look for any deal anymore, I assume it hurts their commission? Even the local Rogers dealer said I would have to sign up online for their deal if I wanted it.

The main reason I want Telus is better reception in a vacation spot I spend a week or two per year in.

hi @jonnie_66 no, Telus retention won't do much

and I always think it is better to check with retails store in person for best new activation deals

Thanks for the replies, the Telus switch for $24/month was BC only. No decent offers for me in Manitoba from Telus (that I can get a phone on finance) about double the price of my current offer.

Buying a phone and staying on PM seems pointless as it's crazy expensive that way.

Rogers is offering a free Pixel 8 and a free A9+ tablet($0 finance not BIB) on a $35/month 60gb plan(win-back offer). I prefer the Telus network and was hoping they might offer the same, the A9+ isn't really important just a bonus. I guess Telus retention department wouldn't really get involved with a PM customer?

check your email, Telus or PM sometimes will send you offers to move to Telus

but why not just check for phone and just buy it instead of tied with a plan?

@jonnie_66  you can definitely get phone with Telus and might be worth calling them to check out this special plan for some public mobile customers to switch to Telus and I’m sure you can add phone to it no problem

hi @jonnie_66 and if you don't mind Certified Preowned phones, check Mobile Klinik.  It is reliable as it is owned by Telus.  All phones come with 1 year warranty which is as good as warranty on the new phones

@jonnie_66

look at apple website for a new iphone as they have 2yr payment options. Also, check with Mobile Klinik in your area...they likely have refurbed cellphones for decent price.

hi @jonnie_66 sorry, no particular offer for PM customers to migrate to Telus

But Telus always have good deals for new subscription and Black Friday is coming. Check Telus site or store
