I'm having problems with my iphone 8 refurbished which I got 3 mths ago

If I bring the phone to close to ear when in use I get a loud noise.  When I call somewhere or someone there is always a delay in connection and most recently the ringer isn't working at all.  Ringer sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.  Not to mention the voicemail doesn't work at all - which I did set-up when I first got the phone.  Not satisfied!

can you try to test your SIM card with another device.

and if you is working fine the issue with that device not SIM card....

you can try to update your ios visit Here link,

or you can also try to do factory reset  Go to Settings > General > Reset. Choose an option: WARNING: If you choose the Erase All Content and Settings option, all of your content is removed. See Erase iPhone.

@cgravelle  It does not like something not right.

However, maybe you can also try 2 things first

1. Make sure you get latest update of the phone.  One way is to connect  the phone to a computer, start iTune and download the latest update and Carrier profile

2. Do a factory reset of a phone

Was your phone purchased from PM ?

If you did, there is a 1 year warranty.  You could send a support ticket.
