I got my Sims card and I followed the steps I troubleshot everything and it’s still not working just wondering why

OK I shut it off for a few minutes I reset the network settings I turned off the airplane mode and turned it back on I manually tried to put it to public mobile for the carrier this is a new phone it’s unlocked still not working it’s not blacklisted

@Jesseford  - since this is a new number it should result in pretty much instant services in a compatible unlocked phone. But there have been cases where sometimes it just took a bit more time (even though it shouldn't really).

 

Continue to reboot your phone, or toggle to airplane mode and back again to help retrigger the network, since your payment went through and your My Account seems in proper form, it should be soon hopefully.

Okay if that doesn't fix it, I'd suggest you send a private message to CS_Agent with your account details. Include your full name, phone and account numbers, email address, and the 4-digit PIN you would just have selected.

Okay I would suggest restarting your phone one last time before we try contacting a PM agent. They usually take a couple hours to respond and I want to make sure you don't have to wait that long without service unless you absolutely have to.

Try one or more of the below:

*turn off your phone, leave off for a few minutes, then reboot

*removing your SIM, then reinserting it

*go into airplane mode, then going back to regular mode

*reset network settings on your device

*Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.

EDIT: okay, is this a brand new, OR new to your phone?

The first payment went through it says that the next payment coming out on 26 February I got an email confirmation of it and I don’t have another phone to put the Sim card in

Was your activation successful? Have you logged into your new selfserve account to check the status shown? You may also check your credit card to see if the first payment went through.

 

Aside from that, you could try putting your SIM in another phone temporarily to see if that fixes the issue.

And I got a new number that was provided through public mobile

I activated it probably 30 to 45 minutes ago it’s showing no service at all I can’t make calls I can’t receive text or anything and it’s an iPhone 11 and I didn’t have a carrier before this

How long ago did you activate it? And did you port in a number from another carrier or did you get a new number?

 

What does your phone show? No service at all? Or are you only able to make calls?
