I can't receive incoming calls, routing straight to VM - Please help

I didn't realize until 6pm today (aug1st) that I haven'r received any texts or incoming calls. I can dial out without any issues. Incoming calls are going straight to voicemail. 

I'm using pixel 2xl phone. Everything was working fin until last night. ANyone else facing same issues?

Do I have to msg moderators seperately? I just sent one to @CS_Agent

 

But I saw in another thread someone had individuals to help?

Is it better if private message them one of the mods. Not sure what there turn around is ou if they triage issues based on severity.

Since you are waiting on the mods anyway, you can try booting your phone into safe mode and see if that changes anything:

 

Find problem apps by rebooting to safe mode

I wish the support from mods were a little quicker but I guess this is standard with PM.

 

Atleast I've checked that I can send Text but can't receive any texts or calls.

Checked DND is turned OFF

Data is working fine

 

Can't think of anything else I can do from my end.

Ok, hang tight - you'll probably not get a response until tomorrow at the earliest. At least you can receive calls with Fongo and hopefully it's something on PM's end that they can sort out for the texts (as well as not having to use Fongo for incoming calls). 🙂

At this point send the mods a private message (you'll see link in previous messages by others) and have them verify everything is ok on PM's end.

 

Just to verify - you are able to call out but not able to receive calls and can neither send nor receive text messages, right?

 

How is data? Does that work ok?

Ok for time being, I'm forwarding all calls coming to my phone to my fongo# so at least I can get calls.

 

But I'm still not able to receive any text.

 

What does it mean?

No i don't unfortunately. This just started happening out of nowhere.

 

I can't send/receive any texts either. I will try to swap my sim out to see if that helps,

Do you have another phone you could pop your sim card into to try?

@mcali786, any chance you have call forwarding enabled?

Other than that, if you have restarted the phone, I would reach out to the moderators to check your line.

Hi, yes I checked that and it's not truned on. Also restarted phone couple of times.

I have no real help to offer, but here is someone else who has a similar problem:

Seems like it might be another error related to people who renewed in the last day or so...

@mcali786Check to make sure DND (Do Not Disturb) mode is not been enabled.

 

Simply restarting your phone often solves issues, doing a battery pull / removing your sim and reinserting solves most issues.

 

Depending on your phone model / OS check under menu/settings/call and look under call rejection, and call forwarding and see if anything looks off
