Hi all, I have started making and receiving calls but I don't know how. However, I placed a ticket for PM they might did something!! Or because the steps you advised me to do.

Thank you all for your kind support

Apparently that's not the solution then.

settings, connections, mobile networks, network operators - the select automatically is probably toggled. Tap the box and then it will scan for networks. When it's done then tap Public or Telus to manually select it.

I kind of doubt that's the problem but worth a try. I would suggest only looking at the factory reset as a total last resort. It requires all kinds of backup and some things do not backup. Or you would need to have all the cloud syncing on to get data out of some apps.

The text and data are working .

How can U change the mobile carrier to manual?

@Mhd11 if your sim works on another phone, it is not a sim problem

another sim works on this phone , and it is hard to say it is a device problem

is text and mobile data working?  If NOT, try to change  your mobile carrier to Manual and Select Public Mobile

Last thing to try, with PM sim card in the phone, Reset your phone to Factory default. (Wipe)  But make sure you backup everything first.  And after the reset , DO NOT restore from the backup yet.  Test the calls first and see if it works

My phone is Samsung A51.

I reset all networks, but still the same problem

@Mhd11   it is not a local outage if your sim works in another phone

did you try Reset all networks on the phone with the PM sim card there?

and what brand and model is your phone?

@Mhd11

I put another SIM (Lucky mobile) in my phone, it works properly

@Mhd11  So after trying it in another phone it works and when you put back in your phone it doesn’t work , sounds like it could be a device issue … might be time for a new phone or take it in for warranty if there any left on it

I tried the SIM in another phone, it works (makes calls and receives). But when it is in my phone it doesn't work

@Mhd11  Can you try SIM card in another phone at all possible see if services work properly

My phone is Samsung A51, and this problem happened suddenly.

First time activated the SIM was in Saskatchewan several months ago, now I am in ontario

Settings, about, reset - reset network settings. This will lose saved wifi's and paired bluetooths.

Have a look also at

settings, about, status information, sim card status - and look for any mention of IMS and if it's registered. Let us know.

@Mhd11 - we are not Public Mobile employees and we have no access to your account. So we have nooo idea about any information that may be going on, if you don't tell us more details.

Are you new here or is this an all of a sudden thing? Did you port a number, or activate with a new number?

@Mhd11 we need more details, like that your tried Brand and model of phone

Did you check if your account status is active?  Please login My account using Incognito mode to confirm account status

If it shows active,  first try to reboot the phone

If that does not work, change the Preferred network type or network mode to 3G only or WCDMA only and see if it works

Try to click Reset All Networks and see if it helps

and do you have another phone to test the PM sim ? just to make sure it is not a device problem.  Also, that can force a sim card re-provision and it could resolve the problem

Also, try the phone in another area if possible, it could be just a local network outage
