I can't make long distance calls

I'm in Alberta (587 area code) and when I try to dial other area codes such as 604 or 250, I either get dead air or a 8B1 error code message. I have Canada-wide calling and according to my profile, have 98 minutes remaining this month. I also tried cutting a ticket through Public Mobile's system, and that didn't work at all.

i would ask PM to check your account then.   Just open ticket with them using the Orange Chatbot icon on lower right, start typing Submit ticket, choose Contact Us and then follow the screen to login and submit ticket

if you have another phone, try the PM sim there, this will refresh the account and would work

if not, you will need to ask support agent to help.

Rebooting the phone didn't work - any other ideas?

Also, try calling within the 1, some reported that without 1 actually works

Long distance calls could be tricky.  Please reboot the phone and try making the calls again

and make the call with a 1 in front
