Thank you for the useful link.  We've just also found a solution by going to General --> Profile --> and remove the old carrier APN setting, and everything works!

I'm having the same issue (iPhone SE), but cannot find all those APN setting fields you mentioned below.

I only see three things

APN:  isb.mb.com

Username: blank

Password: blank

(And an option to click "Reset Settings")

The phone however can receive MMS (picture via text).  I have sent the Moderator messages for help but nothing works so far.  (Network reset, Cellular Data on, Phone reboot, etc...)  This is a phone used with / number ported from Petro-Canada Mobility.  PublicMobile sim worked fine with phone before the port.  (We tested to make sure everything worked before performing the port.)

@chad2001

When did you port? Is your talk and text working for in and outgoing? What information did you use in the port request?

iOS seems to work slightly differently for data.

Have a read in this excellent thread by @CalgaryBen: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Phones-Hardware/FYI-iOS-and-APNs/m-p/323118/highlight...

@fuji2

Doublt check into network settings and make sure "mobile data" is enabled. Turn air plane mode ON then OFF. Do you have another phone to try your sim card in to see if data is working? Has data ever been working? Have you tried data on more than 1 app, have you confirmed you have no local data restrictions / firewall settings? Go into mobile data usage under settings and make sure you have not used your local "data limit" and there are no network restrictions

Go into network search and try reconnecting to the network and make sure LTE is set to preferred (even if you have 3g) If was already on LTE, then try switching to 3G, did it help? No? Then go back to LTE.

Does MMS work? (Not SMS) MMS uses data. Try sending a picture to yourself. Did you get it?

@fuji2 Check the main page of your self-serve account, under Data how much does it say you have used? If it doesn't show data it means that you used it all for the month.
