So what do you want to do with the "inactive" one?

Why do you have it? Why _did_ you have it?

Does it have a balance in Available Funds?

@Iamthememe_ , the question for you is, do you truly need to have two accounts or can you get by with one. Is the second account on delay because of the shutdown? And when Phase 4 is in place or everything is back to normal, do you think you need a second account?

Personally, if you the second one is on hiatus because the Covid-19, I would change the plan to the lowest plan available ($15 a month), and take off autopay. Of course, if you already have funds in this account, Public Mobile will take whatever funds that you have and exhaust that until your account is paid. If no money or funds are in your account, your account will be suspended for 90 days. Go back into the system, and renew your plan about day 85 and repeat the same process, every 85 days (not 90 days, just in case issues!). We are at Phase 3, so, unless we see another major wave, we should be close to Phase 4!? And you wouldn't have lost anything such as a phone number, or SIM.

On the flip side, if the second account is no longer necessary for whatever reason, again, cancel the autopay. If any funds in the account, Public Mobile will exhaust that. Or you can ask SIMon to cancel your account forever. Which also means, that phone number is now up for grabs.

@Iamthememe_ If you have both SIMs, install the one for the account you don't want; dial 611 and cancel autopay.

@Iamthememe_ PM is a prepaid service, there are no refunds. Log into the self service account of the one that you don't want to use and remove the autopay credit card. The account will automatically close in 90 days. If you can't, then contact the moderators and explain your situation. Ask them to remove the credit card for you. There are 2 ways to contact the Moderator Team:

  • Faster response- Get help with your account the easy way by starting a conversation with our virtual assistant, SIMon. It’ll take you to relevant help articles, or if it’s something more urgent, it can help you submit a ticket to the Moderator Team. Click here to get started.
  • Slower- Alternatively, you can send a private message to the Moderators by clicking here. You’ll need to be logged in to your Community account for the link to work.

Once connected to Simon, you will be asked to log in again with your community user name and password.  Please do, this allows you to continue and send your message.
- Check your private message sent box (click on the envelope top right of your screen) to make sure the message was sent.

- Keep an eye on the envelope top right of your screen.  The mods answer will show up there.  When it does, you will be asked to verify your self service account, with your password and login. Doing so allows the process to continue. Stay safe.
