How to obtain rewards points through the Community?

Hello, 

I'm new to the Community. How can you earn Rewards on your next billing cycle? Are there a certain # of questions you need to reply to or ask?

Basically you need to quit your day job or on this Community during your day job. It is  based on the number of Bravos and Solved Solutions you get for the month.

Members with high number of Bravos received are on this Community all the time.

Just scroll down to the bottom of this Get Support page and it will list the leaders of Bravos.

The exact formula is unknown to community members.  Combination of number of posts, bravos and solutions received.  

It is easier to earn the lower amounts per month. It takes a lot of time to earn the higher levels. As we joke on the community forum, you can likely earn more money collecting bottles and cans on the street then spending time here. Earning 20 points/month is not reachable for most people, except for oracles (invite only). 15 points/month likely need to spend at least 2-3 hours everyday. Less than minimum wage if you average it out.

If you like to help out and enjoy online community, then go for it. If you are trying to earn money via community /give back rewards, it is not worth the time.

@Jluong it is based on bravos you receive (maybe give), solutions you get, and the qty of posts you do within a calendar month. It is also based on how many other contributors there are during this time also and how their stats add up.

By participating , reading and helping others with questions . And learning and sharing.

No one really knows the formula used to calculate posts into rewards.

Only PM knows the formula for rewards from the community but from past history the more you participate in answering questions and getting solutions you should be able to earn rewards. Getting top rewards of $5 to $10 each month means a lot of participation. It is easier to collect bottles.
