Your service is on hold

When I log in my account today, I found message on the top of the page: "your service is on hold" , expiration date is today. I am not sure what it means. Today is pay due day. I pay the service by a registered credit card. I assume the "service on hold" message is because of the payment due day? But I am not sure.

It also says I will lost my number if on hold over 90 days. I do not know how long my service has been on hold. And I do not want to lose my phone number.

Please help.

it looks like they have truly suspended my subscription because I can’t make calls or text on my cellular data. I sent a private message and the response was to try again in 24 hours.

“I am sorry to hear that.

Please try again thru Google Chrome Incognito Mode or thru Public Mobile App.

Otherwise, please wait 24 hours to try again.

Since the last update, we cannot help with payments or card updates.“

Update? What Update? Seems they had an update.

I also got the same message. I tried to do "Pay Now" but it seems to be broken too. I'm getting a "server error 507 insufficient storage" in the network panel when I try to complete payment. The message displayed is "Sorry, we are not able to process your payment at this time. Please try again later."

I have Autopay set up so something happened last night when it should have been triggered. My Visa is ok. I think it has more to do with PublicMobile server issue than our payment methods.

It would be great if Public Mobile staff can chime in.

If you have your subscription on auto pay and if your phone is able to make calls like normal, ignore the message. This is the standard message that is shown on the day of payment. Are you able to still make calls even with this message? If not, check to see if auto subscription is on.

@Amanda0999

This is normal (yet, sometimes alarming) renewal messaging used by Public Mobile.

Ignore it if you've got auto-pay set up and your services are working.

In a few hours, it'll disappear and your card will be charged and new cycle details will display in your self-serve account page.
