There is no official promo for free sim card right now online but you can check in stores like walmart or wow mobile if they have any premosion going on.

Walmart gave me a free sim card when I signed up with Koodo a while back so they likely would do the same for PM, as they do carry all mobile carriers. Free sims are occasionally offered as promos.

Walmart often offers free SIM card if you activate in store.  YMMV though.
