How to get a porting code to transfer my current number

My service expired a few days ago, I need a porting code to transfer my number over to a different provider. How do I get this

Sorry, but there isn't.  You'll first need to renew your Public Mobile plan and pay for at least another 30 days of service before the number can be ported to another carrier.

the "fine print" indicates that your account must be active and in good standing if you wanna port away. If you must keep your number, bring your account up to date to port to bell...then ask bell to see if they'll provide some credit to your new bell acct for the $$ you spent in order to port.

Yes, port out on the 28th day and not wait until the last minute when your account is suspended or renewal.

moving to bell, they offered a cheaper plan with more data and i can recieve texts overseas, and you can actually speak to people over the phone

hi @prashan 

there is no "better" way other to reactivate the account and port out.  This is an industry requirement and every carrier follows that

and curious, which carrier you are moving to?

there must be a better solution than having purchase another month to get out of public mobile. The lack of support here is why i want to leave this service
