Is it possible to shut off the data portion of a Public Mobile account every evening from 9pm until 9am? My kids have their iPhones on PM and I want to prevent my kids from using their iphone account for internet use every evening so if you have any ideas on how to do this, please share. - thx.

@Deb44 So they have iPhones , there’s a feature in iPhone called “screen time “ you can limit the times day the phone can and can’t be used for streaming videos talk and text , you enter passcode one that’s different then the phone unlock code . Here you can limit what sites they can view also so they are not looking at anything that’s not age appropriate. Check it out I used if for my daughter when she got her first phone and it worked well .

Keep in my, it's not just data. If you have wifi in your home, they can still connect to the internet.
As stated earlier, the only way to stop children from accessing data or internet, is to take away the phone each night.
That's what we do. You should see the nighttable in the master bedroom 🙃.
That will complain for a few days, but hey, less stress for me.

@Deb44 I think the only way to do this would be to have them physically leave their iPhones out of their rooms, quite sure there is no way to have it automated to turn off at the same time each day and back on.
Something that might be worth trying is getting them on a plan that has less data (though Public Mobile has made it nearly impossible to switch to lower cheaper plans) where they need to really be mindful of their usage so that if they burn through it too quickly by surfing in the late hours when they should be sleeping they'll have no data for the rest of the month and will have no option but to wait for renewal, in case you weren't aware, Public Mobile does not charge for overage fees, once the data has been consumed it will just stop working.

good question...BUT...it's a parent thing, lotsa parents have the same idea as you, but I think there's no known function to shut it off during that time. I guess that's why they pay you the big bux to be the Mom. 🤔
