I need to call a government office in Germany for my mother. I will buy the international minutes add-on but am wondering how I will dial this number (+49 180) 5 01 40 09 ?

Everything is said, just wanna leave a Moin Moin for my fellow Germans here. 👋🏻
I just don't know if you can call special numbers like that with PM. And if,... How much will it cost. It's already more expensive to call them from within Germany. It's a premium number.

@Caro9 yes, you can still use 011 instead of the +, so, you can just dial 011 49 180 ### ####

can I also just dial 011 instead of clicking and holding 0 as some others have mentioned?

@Caro9 for that plus, click and hold 0 and it will show +

I was wondering how to dial the +49?

I wondered about there being 7 digits. This is how it's indicated on the papers we received:
Telefon (+49 180) 5 01 40 09 Is it possible that the 5 is an extension? I'm trying to get some pension information for my mother following my step dad's death.

It would be dialed just as you have typed it, starting with the + followed by all of the other numbers.
looks like there's too many digits...I tried calling and got the 'ol "8B1...your call cannot be completed..." message.

@Caro9 Dial the exit code (011) first. So it would be 011 followed by the number including Germany country code.
"dial the international exit code (011 or "+"), followed by the country code, the area code, and finally the local number"

@Caro9 it looks like there is a 300 international long distance minutes that includes Germany for $15. Have a look in the app or online by signing in
I found this online: To dial Germany from Public Mobile, use the following format: 011 (international prefix) + 49 (Germany country code) + area code + phone number.
