Hello i tried to do this today and realized it tou need an independent account. In the process i ended up losing my wifes phone number. Is there any way to retrieve it?

You can't. Every account is independent, no family/combined account here
Setup another account with another email to subscribe

you cannot add 2 lines to the same account. With PM, one account (one email) for one number
so, if you need to setup a 2nd account, use another email address to create a new account. Just rememeber to use the friend code from your 1st account to get the friend referral bonus. You will need to enter the friend referral code at the payment step
