How often can we change phone numbers?

Was wondering how often we're able to change our phone numbers, and whether there are any restrictions? (e.g. number of changes over a period of time, etc.)

Also, has anyone found easier ways to generate/search for available numbers other than refreshing the page?

@databengal, if you want to change number by porting you can do as many of those as you want.  Number changes by selecting a new number from those available can only be done once every 30 days.  I don't know of any way to determine number availability.  Even if a number is not used by a customer, they may need to sit in dormancy for months before being allowed to be recycled.  Each carrier runs their own list and so there is just no easy way.  That said, "good numbers" become available early morning each day and get allocated pretty quickly.

@databengalYou can change your number every 30 days. As for generating number, we are limited to what Public Mobile allows us to pick on their server, since we are the lowest tier of the Telus Corporation don't expect much.
