Hi,

Where can I see information on the tiers of levels for community involvement?

Cheers,

I feel like it getting harder and harder to reach 25% badge.

I am inclined to help. I was one of the people who liked answered on Yahoo Answers just for the clout badge.

@jlarocque96 hopefully you will be one of the regular contributors in the community. it's been thinning out.

@vexetonic if you want to save on your bill, spend more time on getting referrals.

Ahhh, I find it a bit hard to believe people would be on here as much without the small incentives that comes with posting here.

*of course, but there are people who are also on other forums other than here and they don't receive any money.

the more you spend time in the community the more you get to learn how this service works. learn how to avoid service interruptions and bad glitches(there are also good ones). Ive never had to contact moderators for anything that required immediate assistance

I like the ghetto website... I think the website is purposely made to confuse people, it brings traffic to the community. that, or they find a new provider lol. I have a free $45 plan. there are no providers that can match this

@vexetonic  yah, your right - it seems alot of folks are doing it for very little.

Either that, or it's become a competition for some.   Bragging rights???

The forum UI is dated and confusing. Could use a serious overall, not a very pleasant experience for end user.

@jlarocque96 you're 💯 right. That's why most of us regulars are always on. To simply help others and pass the time be it at work, on a metro/bus etc. The reward is appreciated but we'd likely be on regardless helping out.

It's like its own community of regulars. Then you can go relax and post in the lounge for general topics not related to Public Mobile.

That's EXACTLY what it's about, @jlarocque96

Another wise person on this forum put it more succinctly.   You'll do better collecting bottles than you will with Community Rewards.

Most people peg Community Rewards to average of 10 cents per hour of effort.

I would then consider it to be more about helping others, than any significant monetary gain.

@HALIMACS  You could always test it yourself lol. Just create another account. Post alot, get Bravo's a few solutions and you'll see you jump up faster to a certain point. Not sure if it's from Bravo's, solutions (I don't think fully) or just alot of post.

It appears to be only the first few though. Once you get up to model citizen then you're stuck to the 4 months.

According to your account creation date. You have 9 days to go and already met the 15 solution criteria. So you may get bumped up to Town hero by next weekend.

Anywho maybe it was a one off but I seen someone get good citizen in under 24 hours from signup then 1.5 to 2 weeks in they were at great citizen.

Maybe just the many quirks that PM has lol.

@jlarocque96

here's a guide

top 25-50%/month($1-2)

make a few post responses, create a topic question
give Bravo's to solutions and correct answers

top 10%/week($5)

3-4 days(2-3hr) of helping customers questions
recieving Bravo's for posts
Bravo's etc.

top 5%/week($10)

6-7 days(2-4hr) of helping customers
gaining accepted solutions
recieving Bravo's for posts
Bravo's etc.

top 1%/week($15)

7 days(5hr+) of helping customers
gaining accepted solutions
recieving Bravo's for posts
Bravo's etc

*this is just an estimation

The amount you recieve for being a top 1% equates to around 10 cents/hour

I don't know, but it seems like a lot of monthly work for a discount.

Interesting @Jb456.   It wouldn't surprise me if leveling up newer members more quickly than before might be a good strategy to prompt more involvement.

It's been surprisingly accurate for me thus far, even though I'm a lowly Model Citizen. (NO offense to anyone else)

I dont think that old level up post is accurate any longer. Maybe a bit but not for the first few. I know someone that hit great citizen in like 2 weeks not 2 months.

Anyways OP they don't really mean anything anyways. Just part of the forum software.

Great question, @jlarocque96

Here's the best information I've been able to find:

Subscribing:                   New in town     (certain)

1st post:                         Great Neighbour (certain)

1 week + at least approx. 5 posts :                            Good Citizen  (time certain)

At least 2 months + at least app. 35 posts :               Great Citizen (time certain)

At least 2 months + at least 70 Bravoes :                   Model Citizen (highly probable)

At least 4 months + at least 15 authored solutions :  Town Hero   (time highly probable)

                                                                                                        (solutions certain)

At least 6 months + at least 20 authored solutions:   Deputy Mayor (time highly probable)

                                                                                                            (solutions certain)

At least 6 months + at least app. 1000 posts: Mayor             (?)

At least 1 year + merit based, likely top 25% contributor higher for majority of last 9 months Oracle (by invite or successful application)
