Unfortunately, this would not answer the question as it's incorrect. Add-ons are a buy once and consume over time thing. The other 3rd tier competitors don't offer this.

At public mobile you get exactly what you pay for....ahead of time. You will never be billed/charged for anything. If you are registered for autopay then your plan will automatically renew if you have a balance in your account and/or credit on your registered card. Add ons at pm are just that you add one to your account and it stays there as an add on to your existing plan til you use it up entirely and it will just disappear.....unlike other providers that have add ons that they continue to add on to your bill everý month so it's really an add on and on and on and on

You Plan Minutes and Data will always get used up first when you have a Calling/Minutes or Data add-on purchased. The Add-on will kick in, if your Plan Minutes and/or Data run out.
When your plan renews, your Plan Minutes and Data will replenish and it will get used first again.
As others are saying Add-Ons stay in your account until used up...exception to that rule is the "Us Roaming" add-ons, which start when purchased and last for 10 days.

@Teddy123 It is just a one-time purchase, and any unused portion of the add-on will carry over to your next renewal period(s) until used up. Always a good idea to consider benefits of switching rate plan vs buying add-on, depending on ongoing need.

@Teddy123 add-ons are one time purchases. They remain in your account until all used up.
