How do I purchase an extra 1 GB of data for the current month ?

If you are unsure of something it's usually a good idea to stay quite because people make decisions based on what they Read. Bad advise like yours can cause someone a bunch of Grief.

FYI. Canadian Add on's are one time Purchase and do Not Auto Renew and also Do Not Expire till all used up as long as your account is in Active Status..  As of matter of fact buying an add on is a two step process, first you need to add money into your account via a Top up Voucher or Credit/Debit Cards and then second step is to buy the add on.

As to what @geopublic was saying, not only can you not cancel an add-on, you wouldn't need to even if that were an option.  Add-ons do not automatically renew after used up, nor do that after any set amount of time.  They are one-time purchases.

@nicoleyardyNO, that is not correct. You cannot cancel add-ons. The whole point of an add-on is to be able to use it when needed.That is why it doesn't expire.

@Dfg54357 It might be better to renew early instead of buying an add-on for $30 if you are on a plan that costs about the same as the 1GB add-on. If you want to do this, you must send a private message to the Moderator_Team if the plan you have is no longer available.

You need to purchase the 1GB LTE addon for $30.00. Please note that add-ons never expire so they stay on your account until you use all the amount or until you cancel your account.

Purchasing an add-on is a two step process. First you need to put the funds in your account then you can purchase the add-on via selfserve or by adialling *611 from your phone.
