Hi Public Mobile Support,
I would like some guidance on transferring my eSIM between devices. Could you please explain the process for moving an eSIM from an iPhone to an Android phone, and also from an Android phone back to an iPhone?
Please also let me know if there are any special requirements (such as deleting the old eSIM profile, scanning a new QR code, or unlocking the phone) that I should be aware of during this transfer.
Solved! Go to Solution.

This is Public Mobile Community, not support.
Public Mobile doesn't allow eSIM transfers between devices.
What you have to is to download the Public Mobile App to the phone in question and go-to the Account section. Select purchase SIM card, purchase eSIM. This must be done each time. If you had eSIM previously, the system is not supposed to charge again.
It is important to note that new Samsung devices are exceptions. The first setup must be done with physical SIM first. Once done through physical SIM, it will allow for eSIM.

At Public Mobile, there's no ability to transfer an eSIM from one phone to another. You'll need to go into your Public Mobile self serve account to purchase a new eSIM. If you get charged a $5 fee, you'll then need to use the Public Mobile bot to open a ticket and ask a customer support agent for a refund of that $5 fee.
