Hi,
My sim card was broken and can't receive the confirmation code any more. I don't have an account yet but I have my auto pay with my sim card. I don't want to use this phone number anymore. How can I cancel my plan?
Thanks!

@HuaLiu : The above is an outstanding idea that I have used on an EV charging app that wanted to auto top-up at a certain level. Disallow it this way and you can use the rest of the value in the app down to 0. In your case, it disallows the renewal via autopay...unless you have sufficient Available Funds. Once suspended...it stays suspended.

If you no longer want an account or plan with public mobile and you don't care to port your number out to another provider ( which automatically closes your account) then you want to remove autopay.
In your situation without contacting the moderators to gain account access the easiest way would be to call 1855 4PUBLIC (1 855 778 2542) and enter your 10 digit phone number. If you know your 4 digit acct pin # you can remove autopay. If you don't then just make a note of your next renewal date.
The evening before the renewal date put your credit card on hold thru your online credit card account, app or by calling customer service. Autopay usually charges the card on file at about 2 am eastern. The next day after noon you can take the hold off. Your payment will have failed and your account suspended. After 90 days your account will be deactivated and cancelled.

If you have not created a self-serve account yet but have a credit card on file you will probably need to contact the moderators for them to assist with this. They will require some sort of account ownership verification. You can use SIMon the chatbot to reach the Mods it is the chat bubble in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.

Choices to cancel service:
Disable autopay and remove autopay credit card info to stop autopay and port your number to another provider. Your account will be canceled right away.
Remove autopay credit card info to stop autopay. Your account will be suspended without payment at your next renewal date. 90 days after suspension, your account will be cancelled. You have 90 days to change your mind by paying and reactivate your account.
If you have a plan with high demand, you can let someone to take over your plan. Your phone number will go with the plan to the new owner.
