For this type of ticket, I don't agree that sending a private message is easier.  Not only will this result in the customer getting slower servcie, doing this will also require an additional verification step.  Also, for a self serve e-mail address change, a few questions need to be answered aboout the account. The ticketing process ensures that all that information is provided in one step.  Sending a private messages means that the moderator will not only need to verfify that the Commmunity member owns the Public Mobile account, but would also means that more back-and-forth messages will need to be exchanged because of the increased amount of information that is needed for security reasons for this type of request.  I suggest using SIMon to submit the ticket, and once there, typing "change self serve e-mail address" will take the customer directly to the steps needed to process this request.
