I tried to use my personal hotspot, but it does not function. Is there some setting I need to change to make it function? I also tried connecting to my desktop when the internet went down yesterday, but it says it can not connect after initiating the connection. Thank you for any help.
I have an iPhone 14, I have 50 GB of data, and the hotspot has never worked on my phone. When I try to connect, it shows a connection trying to happen but then disconnects within seconds.

if it does not even let you input your password, it is not a problem with Public Mobile. You need to understand even you have no PM data, the hotspot can be connected. Your problem look like is an issue on the device you try to connect to the hotspot
I think you should try other devices to connect to that hotspot as well.

Yes, I do. It just does not finish the connection. It attempts to connect but does not even give me the option to input my password.

@SevenQ on your iPhone's Personal Hotspot settings, do you have "Allow Others to Join" toggled on?

PM does not restrict data use for hotspotting. So it's something in your phone settings.
What phone do you use? Does data work for use on the phone itself? Has hotspotting worked with Public Mobile before?
