what phone do you have?
Check the Preferred network type or network mode. While most of the time, leaving it with Automatic is good, but try the different ones there, 3G/4G (or LTE)/ 5G and see which one get you a more stable connection

Ty I did as you suggested still only bywn 1 and 2 bars but data seems to be working now

Hi, ty for update. I am in British Columbia and this is not new issue with signal ( I just nvr said anything as it's a pain not being able to access live support) this has been since beginning of 2023. I've been with Public since 2018 same province/ city nvr had such crappy signal until this year . Even spent 2 months in Sask and signal was almost full bars .

Public Mobile is having some Mobility issues in specific Provinces tonight, this could by why your service is being temporarily affected.
